Problem
People are increasingly neglecting sleep in their everyday lives, sacrificing it to “win more hours” during the day without realising that less sleep can mean being more unfocused the next day. Whether it is to get more work done, prolong their free time, or enjoy another night out, sleep often ends up at the back of their minds.
Solution
People often think a structured morning is what keeps them focused throughout the day, when in reality, your morning starts the night before. Nightly encourages people to approach sleep with the same intention as their mornings, reframing it as something to look forward to rather than something to sacrifice. Built around the idea of dreams, sleep becomes its own kind of adventure, a chance to escape, slow down, and visit somewhere new each night.
This idea inspired the visual identity, with the unicorn becoming a symbol of the magical world of dreams through the logo and illustrations across the can. Sunset-inspired gradients in blue, pink, and purple create a sense of transition from day to night, while adding to the whimsical and dreamlike feel. Together, these elements make the night-time ritual feel more exciting and inviting, turning sleep into something people can look forward to.
